Mola Café is a brand-current specialty coffee shop in Toronto and is looking for an experienced and passionate barista to join our small, friendly team!

As a barista at Mola, you’ll be the face of the café, crafting espresso- and matcha-based drinks with care, serving pastries and light food items, and helping create a warm, welcoming space for our guests. We value genuine connection, outstanding customer service, and, of course, amazing coffee.

You’ll be working alongside us, the two young owners, as we build this place from the ground up. It’s our first café, and we’re looking for someone excited to be part of the journey and help shape the culture with us.

What You’ll Do:
Prepare a variety of espresso-based and matcha drinks to specialty standards
Provide warm, attentive customer service — greet every guest, explain menu options, and make people feel seen and welcome
Operate the POS system and handle cash/card transactions
Serve pastries and light bites




Maintain a clean and organized bar and café area
Support opening and closing duties as needed
Be part of building an inclusive, upbeat café culture

What We’re Looking For:
2 years of barista experience in a specialty coffee environment
Robust espresso skills: dial in, adjust the grinder, and do consistent latte art
Confident, friendly communicator who enjoys connecting with people
Comfortable in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Must be available on weekends
Food Handler Certificate Required
Passion for coffee and interest in being part of a growing café

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
