Overview
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator /Warehouse associate to join our mail processing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating the forklift for incoming and outgoing shipments. This role requires extensive knowledge of MS Office specifically EXCEL, attention to safety, and the ability to manage inventory accurately within a fast-paced environment. The position offers an prospect to work in a agile warehouse setting with potential for growth and development.

Duties
Operate forklifts, to move materials and products throughout the warehouse and loading/offloading materials from transport trucks
Perform order picking and stacking tasks with precision, ensuring accurate inventory management
Utilize excel spreadsheets to track and document movement of goods
Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on forklift equipment to ensure safety and proper functioning --preferred
Assist with heavy lifting tasks, adhering to safety protocols at all times




Support warehouse distribution activities by organizing and storing inventory efficiently
Use basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities during operations
Follow safety guidelines and procedures to prevent accidents or injuries in the warehouse

Experience
Previous experience operating forklifts, is highly preferred
Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with warehouse equipment is a plus
Experience working in warehouse distribution or logistics settings is advantageous
Basic math skills necessary for inventory counting and measurement tasks
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively in a fast-paced setting
Prior experience with order picking and inventory management enhances efficiency in this role and is highly recommended
Extensive proficiency in using Microsoft Office products-specifically EXCEL

Pay: $22.00-$27.00 per hour
