Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Class 1 Truck Driver to join our dynamic logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating heavy-duty trucks to transport freight across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the highest safety standards. Your expertise in commercial driving, heavy equipment operation, and vehicle maintenance will be essential in supporting our company's commitment to efficient and reliable transportation services. Responsibilities
Safely operate Class 1 heavy-duty trucks to transport freight over short and long distances, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, including checking brakes, lights, tires, and load security
Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment when necessary, ensuring proper handling and securement of cargo
Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, mileage logs, fuel consumption, and inspection reports
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff,



and clients to coordinate pickups and deliveries
Perform routine vehicle maintenance tasks or report mechanical issues promptly to ensure optimal truck performance
Assist with basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting minor mechanical problems as needed

Requirements
Valid Class 1 commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
Proven experience in commercial driving and freight transportation
Proficiency in operating heavy equipment such as forklifts and other loading machinery
Knowledge of safety protocols related to heavy vehicle operation and freight handling
Ability to perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting minor mechanical issues
Solid communication skills and attention to detail for accurate record keeping
Physical ability to lift heavy loads, perform inspections, and work in various weather conditions

Pay: $7,000.00-$9,000.00 per month
