Overview
We are seeking a skilled Truck & Coach and/or Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in maintaining and repairing a variety of heavy machinery, including; dump trucks, excavators, trailers, and various other vehicles. This role requires a robust mechanical aptitude, proficiency with hand and power tools, and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues. The Mechanic will play a crucial role in ensuring our equipment operates efficiently and safely.

Duties
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment and other industrial machinery.
Diagnose mechanical issues using schematics and technical manuals to identify necessary repairs.
Conduct electrical troubleshooting and repairs as needed to ensure proper functionality of equipment.
Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment for assembly and repair tasks.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks while providing excellent customer service.
Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed on equipment.




Adhere to safety protocols while operating heavy machinery and performing maintenance tasks.
Assist in the training of junior mechanics or apprentices as required.

Qualifications
Proven mechanic experience with heavy equipment; dealership experience is a plus.
Familiarity with the operation of heavy equipment.
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding machines, and diagnostic equipment.
Ability to read and interpret schematics for troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems.
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Pay: $42.00-$52.00 per hour
