Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will support the clinical team by providing exceptional patient care, assisting with dental procedures, and ensuring smooth office operations. This role offers an opportunity to work in a rapid-paced environment where your skills in dental assisting and patient communication are highly valued. Experience with dental software such as Epic and Dentrix, as well as knowledge of orthodontics and pediatrics, will be considered a robust advantage. The Dental Assistant will play a vital role in enhancing patient experience and supporting the delivery of high-quality dental care.
Responsibilities
Prepare treatment rooms for patient procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are sterilized and ready.
Assist dentists during various procedures, including orthodontic treatments and pediatric dentistry.
Take and develop dental radiographs using CAD technology when necessary.
Manage patient records accurately using dental software such as Epic and Dentrix.
Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures, answering questions,
and ensuring comfort throughout visits.
Maintain infection control standards by sterilizing instruments and following safety protocols.
Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient flow as a dental receptionist when needed.
Keep the clinical area clean, organized, and compliant with health regulations.
Requirements
Certification or experience in dental assisting is required
Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry.
Robust communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Understanding of infection control procedures and sterilization techniques.
A professional attitude with a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $26.07-$40.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 32.0 per week
