Duties
Remove damaged or broken automotive glass safely using hand tools and power tools.
Prepare vehicle surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and applying adhesives to ensure proper fitment.
Install new windshields, side windows, rear windows, and other glass components with attention to detail.
Use heavy lifting techniques and equipment to handle large or heavy glass parts efficiently and safely.
Conduct quality checks after installation to verify proper fitment, seal integrity, and overall safety standards.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including proper disposal of old glass and debris.




Communicate effectively with customers regarding service procedures and answer any questions about the installation process.

Skills
Proven dealership experience or automotive repair background demonstrating familiarity with vehicle systems.
Mechanical knowledge combined with experience using hand tools such as pry bars, scrapers, and sealant guns.
Ability to operate power tools safely and efficiently during installation procedures.
Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged standing during work shifts.
Strong understanding of automotive glass specifications and installation techniques.
Mechanic experience preferred for troubleshooting related issues that may arise during installation.
Excellent attention to detail, safety awareness, and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
