Job Title: Aveiro Team Member – A Warm, Welcoming Role in Our Local Portuguese Bake Shop

What You’ll Do: As a Team Member, you’ll play a key role in creating the special atmosphere that keeps our customers coming back. Your responsibilities will include:
Preparing and presenting traditional Portuguese pastries, breads, and other baked goods.
Preparing espresso based coffee orders for customers.
Greeting customers with a smile, sharing your love for our products, and offering personalized recommendations.
Assisting with shop upkeep, ensuring the bakery remains clean, organized, and inviting.
Collaborating with the team to create a warm and supportive work workplace.
Assisting with opening and/or closing duties as required.

What We’re Looking For:
Is passionate about food, baking,



and Portuguese culture (bonus if you have a sweet spot for pasteis de nata!).
Has a friendly, approachable demeanor and enjoys interacting with customers.
Can maintain attention to detail in a rapid-paced environment.
Thrives in a close-knit, team-oriented environment.
Can handle a very fast paced and physically demanding job (constantly on your feet, some heavy lifting required, lots of cleaning).
Brings a positive attitude and willingness to learn - barista skills are encouraged but not required!
Has their Food Handler Certification (an asset).
