Job DescriptionTitle: Project ManagerReports to: Director, Clinical ServicesPosition Type: Full-Time, Permanent (35 hours/week)Salary: $75,439.00-$88,761.40 Annual or $41.45 - $48.77 per hourVacancy Status: New VacancyLocation: Kingston, with travel required through Kingston, Frontenac, Lennox & Addington catchment areaPosition SummaryThe Project Manager plays a critical organizational role at Kingston Community Health Centres providing hands‑on project leadership and execution across the clinical portfolio and as needed, across programs and the broader organization. This position is equally responsible for leading and completing project work. The Project Manager is both a strategic driver and a direct contributor to deliverables.Embedded within the Clinical Services portfolio, this role operates with a flexible and evolving focus, allowing for responsiveness to organization priorities while continuing to support clinical service objectives. and evaluation reportsDesign and implement data collection tools and processes to assess program effectiveness, outcomes, and impactAnalyze qualitative and quantitative data, synthesize findings, and translate results into clear, actionable recommendations for program and organizational improvementSupport the use of evaluation findings to inform program planning, service design, and strategic decision‑makingContribute to funder reporting and accountability requirements where program evaluation data is requiredAdministrative & Director SupportProvide general project and administrative support to the Director of Clinical Services, including preparing materials, coordinating with external partners, and managing time‑sensitive tasksSupport the Director in tracking and managing organizational priorities, preparing agendas, and following up on action itemsAssist with research, data gathering, and the preparation of reports and presentations as requiredOrganizational ResponsibilitiesComply with all relevant legislation and KCHC policies, including privacy lawsCommit to acquiring an understanding of the importance of trauma responsiveness and the impact of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs)Commit to demonstrating an ongoing commitment to Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, Indigenization and Accessibility (EDIIA) by representing the diverse nature of our communities, promoting and practicing inclusionSupports consistent application and development of KCHC policies and proceduresSupports KCHC’s student and volunteer placement programsPromotes awareness of and participation in KCHC activitiesDemonstrated commitment to continuous learning and quality improvementOn occasion, perform other temporary duties as requiredBasic Education and Experience RequirementsMaster’s degree in public health, public administration, health studies, or business administration, or a combination of relevant education and experience may be consideredMinimum 3–5 years of progressive experience in project management or organizational coordination, preferably in a health or community services settingDemonstrated experience both leading projects and producing high‑quality deliverables and work productsExperience designing and conducting program evaluations, including developing logic models, evaluation frameworks, and data collection toolsKnowledge, Skills and AbilitiesProject Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification an assetExperience in a community health centre, primary care, or community health setting an assetFamiliarity with health system structures, clinical operations, and/or community health programming am assetExperience with funder reporting or accountability frameworks that include evaluation components an assetSolid grounding in project management methodologies, frameworks,
and best practicesKnowledge of program evaluation theory and practice, including evaluation design, logic models, and outcome measurementFamiliarity with data collection and analysis methodsStrong analytical skills, with the ability to collect, interpret, and present data clearly and meaningfullyExceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines across multiple projectsStrong written communication skills, including the ability to produce clear, polished reports, briefing notes, presentations, evaluation reports, and project documentationStrong verbal communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to lead meetings and working groups effectivelyUnderstanding of health system and community health centre contexts, including clinical service delivery and organizational governanceKnowledge of organizational strategy development and implementation processesProficiency with project management tools, data collection tools, and Microsoft Office SuiteAbility to think both strategically and critically to understand the bigger organizational picture while managing complex detailsAbility to work with a high degree of independence and self‑direction, taking initiative without waiting to be directedAbility to build trusted relationships and influence across teams, roles, and portfolios without formal authorityAbility to adapt quickly to shifting priorities, ambiguity, and changing organizational needsOther RequirementsCurrent and satisfactory Criminal and Vulnerable Persons CheckValid driver’s license, insurance, and access to reliable vehicleAs a registered professional, to abide by and be accountable to the ethics and standards set out by the relevant regulatory body of the profession.
