This is a part-time position that will be reporting directly to the Plant Manager of Sani Gear Inc.

Sani Gear Inc. is a private company that works directly with Fire Departments, ensuring the safety of firefighters’ gear. Our company performs cleaning, repairing, inspection and testing of bunker gears, working with departments from coast to coast. This is a unique business which is expanding, and we are looking for Receiving & Shipping Team Member.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including gloves and smock, and use a mask and goggles when required.
Open and inspect incoming bunker gear according to established procedures.
Create work orders and scan garment barcodes.
Manage internal tracking system, update dashboards and inform staff on urgencies and timelines for shipments to be sent back to clients
Inspect and test liners according to established testing procedures.
Follow established washing procedures and applicable wash guides.
Properly identify contaminants and determine the appropriate processing method.
Recognize and appropriately handle different contaminants, including oil/grease, tar, paint, ink, and other substances.




Ensure garments are processed safely and correctly based on the type of contamination.
Organize completed garments for the next stage of processing or return to the customer.
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient receiving area.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, office staff, coworkers, and supervisors.
Identify process issues and communicate opportunities for improvement.
Follow company procedures and contribute to maintaining a safe and organized workplace.

We are looking for:
Ability to do manual work such as unpack, fold, sort, work with some machinery and computers, maintenance, and other duties as assigned by the manager
Provide Police background check from Police station
Attention to details / dependable
Great communications and customer service skills
Ability to lift 50lbs and able to work physically for 8 hours per day

Job Type: Part time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
