Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Pressman Mechanic to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing printing press equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical and electrical knowledge, along with experience in industrial maintenance, to support our high-volume production processes.

Duties
Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on printing presses and related machinery
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues using schematics and analysis skills
Repair or replace worn or damaged components, including welding, drilling and tapping when necessary
Maintain accurate records of maintenance and production activities
Collaborate with operators to optimize machine performance and troubleshoot operational issues
Assist with installation and setup of current press equipment following technical schematics
Ensure compliance with safety standards,



including low voltage electrical protocols and HVAC systems.

Skills
Experience with industrial electrician practices and electrical troubleshooting
Proficiency in reading schematics, mechanical diagrams, and technical manuals
Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automated equipment control
Hands-on welding skills and experience working with HVAC systems preferred
Solid analysis skills to diagnose complex machinery issues efficiently
Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and teamwork
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Broad understanding of industrial maintenance practices within a manufacturing setting
Experience with printing (screen, offset, pad, flexo), prepress and production machines.

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
