Job description
Must be willing to be on call, work long hours, work independently, work alone safely or with others and report to immediate supervisor on a regular basis. Work in field services and/or shop setting.
Job Description/Duties:
Must have a valid driver's license.
Work as a field tech travelling to multiple drilling rig locations and perform repairs on mechanical equipment at rig site.
Work in shop when needed or as field duties permit.
Must have extensive knowledge of hydraulic systems and the ability to read schematics
Mechanical knowledge of land rig Top Drives is a must
Must be able to perform alignments and check bearing play
Knowledge of basic 24V DC Systems and electrical systems
Use of large tools and specialty tools
Required Safety Tickets: First Aid, CSO, H2S, TDG and a WHMIS
