Benefits after 3 months

Employees are paid hourly, overtime applies after 10 hours or 50 hours per week, whichever is greater.

Contractors get 23% of the truck rate (approx $48-$55 straight time)

Duties
Operate commercial vehicles to transport freight efficiently and safely.
Operate digital log book in the Motive app
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in positive working condition.
Load and unload cargo, primarily drill pipe/casing ensuring proper handling and securing of freight.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or delays.
Communicate with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules, routes, and any potential issues on the road.




Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving to ensure safety on the road.
Perform minor automotive repairs as needed to maintain vehicle functionality.
Operate heavy equipment and forklifts when necessary for loading and unloading tasks.

Skills
Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL).
Solid knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety regulations.
Basic automotive repair skills to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues.
Experience operating heavy equipment is a plus.
Forklift operation experience is advantageous for loading and unloading tasks.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and dispatchers.
Attention to detail to ensure accurate record keeping and compliance with regulations.

Pay: $36.00-$42.00 per hour
