Server

Duties:
Greet and seat customers in a friendly and welcoming manner
Take food and drink orders accurately and promptly
Deliver orders to tables in a timely manner
Ensure customer satisfaction by providing excellent service throughout their dining experience
Answer customer questions about menu items and make recommendations
Upsell additional menu items and specials
Process payments and handle cash transactions
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate and timely order delivery
Maintain cleanliness of dining area and workstations

Skills:
Food preparation: Ability to assist with basic food preparation tasks, such as assembling salads or appetizers.
Cash handling: Proficiency in handling cash transactions, including giving change accurately.
Math: Robust math skills to calculate bills, split checks, and handle cash transactions.
Kitchen: Familiarity with kitchen operations, including food safety standards and basic cooking techniques.
Food service: Knowledge of proper serving techniques, including carrying trays, balancing plates,



and serving etiquette.
POS (Point of Sale) systems: Experience using POS systems to enter orders, process payments, and generate receipts.
Time management: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a quick-paced workplace.
Customer service: Excellent interpersonal skills to provide friendly and attentive service to customers.
Guest services: Ability to anticipate customer needs and provide personalized service to enhance their dining experience.
Food handling: Knowledge of proper food handling procedures to ensure food safety.
