Job Overview
Homegirl Cafe is a locally owned coffee shop deli looking to hire 1–3 friendly, reliable team members to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys customer service, working in a fast-paced workplace, and being part of a small, supportive team.

Responsibilities
Prepare and serve coffee, espresso-based drinks, and specialty beverages
Prepare deli items and light food according to shop standards
Provide friendly, efficient customer service
Operate POS system and handle cash and card transactions
Maintain cleanliness of work areas, equipment, and customer spaces
Follow food safety, hygiene, and opening/closing procedures
Work collaboratively with team members during busy periods

Qualifications
Barista, café, or food service experience is an asset (training provided)




Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
Comfortable standing for extended periods and performing light lifting
Must be legally eligible to work in Canada

Schedule
Adaptable availability preferred
Monday - Saturday
