Manufacturing Engineer

Overview:

We are seeking a talented and highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing manufacturing processes and equipment to improve efficiency, quality, and safety. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement continuous improvement initiatives and ensure manufacturing operations meet industry standards.

Responsibilities:
Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and maintain quality standards.
Design and develop manufacturing processes using CAD tools
Lead continuous improvement initiatives utilizing lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and enhance productivity and cost reductions.
Collaborate with mechanical engineers on assembly line design, mechanical knowledge application, and system optimization.
Conduct root cause analysis for process issues and implement corrective actions to improve quality and throughput.
Support new product development by providing engineering expertise in manufacturing feasibility, tooling, and process validation.
Document process flows, schematics, and technical specifications for manufacturing operations.





Requirements:
3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
Experience with process design, workflow optimization, and production planning.
Proficient in a 3D modeling environment such as Solidworks, Fusion360, Onshape.
Experience with automation, robotics, or smart manufacturing technologies.
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Commercial lighting and/or architectural industry experience is a big benefit.
Residential or commercial construction experience is an asset.
Electrical or electronics experience is an asset.

Pay: $75,000.00-$87,000.00 per year
