Job description:

Immediate need for a general labourer to work day shift Monday to Friday from 7AM to 3PM.

Or

An afternoon Shift from 3PM to 11PM

This position is not on a bus route, therefore you must be ok walking or biking in from the nearest bus stop which could take 10 to 15 minutes.

This work is working on a sort line in a plastics recyclables facility in North Richmond. You will be standing all day and work with a team, taking items off a conveyor.

This job is not on a bus route so access to a vehicle is recommended. You must wear industrial steel toed boots and industrial clothing to work.

No excessive adornments or loose clothing as this poses a safety risk. You must be able to communicate well.

YOU must have steel toed work boots that are CSA approved and 6 inches above the ankle.

This position starts right away and pays $18.25 per hour, weekly.




Perform general labor tasks as assigned by supervisor
Clean and maintain work areas
Follow safety protocols and guidelines
Previous experience in a labour-intensive role preferred
Ability to lift objects and perform physically demanding tasks
Robust work ethic and willingness to learn
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work well in a team setting

This is a temporary to permanent position.
