AAA Striping & Coating Services is looking for an experienced Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our team in Wetaskiwin, Alberta. In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a diverse fleet of heavy-duty vehicles and industrial equipment that keeps our operations running safely and efficiently.

Working primarily in our shop, with occasional field service work, you'll tackle a wide variety of mechanical and electrical repairs. Role Responsibilities:




Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and equipment
Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues
Maintain specialized paint and thermoplastic systems
Complete CVIP inspections and ensure fleet compliance
Perform field repairs as required
Maintain service records and manage shop inventory
Follow and enforce all safety procedures (PPE, LOTO, FLHA)

Role Requirements:
Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician (Red Seal) – Required
Valid CVIP License – Required
Class 1 or Class 3 License with Air Brakes – Required
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
Experience mentoring apprentices is an asset
