We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Countertop Sander for one our companies in Etobicoke. This position offers an exciting prospect to work with a agile team dedicated to craftsmanship and excellence.
Duties
Operate various hand tools and power tools to sand, smooth, and finish countertops according to specifications
Use heavy equipment and machinery, including sanders and polishing machines, to achieve desired surface quality
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times
Assist in the assembly process by preparing materials and components for final installation
Conduct routine inspections of equipment, perform minor maintenance, and report any issues promptly
Support warehouse operations by safely operating forklifts and other heavy equipment as needed
Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality
Qualifications
Must have experience sanding counters; Corian type with sander,similar like wood sending
Strong mechanical knowledge with experience operating power tools, hand tools, and heavy equipment
Prior experience in manufacturing, construction, or woodworking settings preferred
Ability to operate forklifts safely; forklift certification is a plus
Familiarity with machining, welding, or assembly processes is advantageous
Hands-on experience with heavy equipment operation and warehouse procedures is desirable
Excellent attention to detail with a focus on safety and quality standards
Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and perform manual tasks efficiently

Shift timings: 8:00 am -5:00 pm Monday to Friday
