Verace Restaurant is looking for an experienced Pizzaiolo to join our team in Oakville.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about authentic Italian pizza and has hands-on experience working with a wood-burning pizza oven.

Responsibilities
Prepare and stretch pizza dough according to restaurant standards
Prepare and assemble authentic-style pizzas
Operate and maintain a wood-burning pizza oven safely and efficiently
Monitor oven temperature and cooking times to ensure consistent results
Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation and consistency
Prepare and organize ingredients for service
Keep the pizza station clean, organized and sanitary
Work efficiently during busy service periods
Follow food safety and kitchen procedures
Work collaboratively with the kitchen team

Qualifications
Previous professional Pizzaiolo experience required
Experience with a wood-burning pizza oven is required
Strong knowledge of pizza dough preparation, fermentation and baking




Ability to work in a rapid-paced restaurant environment
Strong attention to detail and consistency
Reliable, punctual and professional
Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
Italian/Neapolitan pizza experience is an asset
