A well‑established and rapidly growing steel fabrication company in Timmins, ON is seeking 2–3 Fabricators/Welders to join their team immediately to work in the shop daily.

About the Role
This position is focused on producing high‑quality structural and industrial steel components. You will work hands‑on with heavy-duty materials and be responsible for ensuring every weld and assembly meets high standards of accuracy and performance.

Key Responsibilities




Perform 100% MIG welding to CWB standards
Read and interpret fabrication drawings, blueprints, and weld symbols
Set up jigs, fixtures, and layouts
Cut, fit, and weld mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum
Verify measurements, tolerances, and fit‑up
Conduct pre-fit inspections and maintain strict quality control
Ensure all assemblies meet internal and customer specifications

Qualifications
2+ years of experience in steel fabrication/welding (structural or industrial)
Solid MIG welding skills
Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings and weld symbols
Experience with manual and semi‑automated fabrication tools
CWB certification (SMAW, FCAW, GMAW) is an asset
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills
Reliable, self‑motivated, and comfortable in a fast‑paced setting
