Mickelson National Golf Club is an exciting recent world class golf club located west of Calgary. Our Community Parks department maintains parks, boulevards, roadways and the lakefront of our residential community of Harmony. We are looking for team members to assist with leading our grounds department while being actively hands on in all facets of the operation. Golf privileges are available to all team members.

Reports to: Master Superintendent, Senior Assistant Superintendent, Superintendent Subdivision Maintenance

Duties:

· Assist Assistant Superintendents in all facets of the operation.

· Report all findings of dry spots, disease, weeds, insects and any imperfections to the Superintendent and Assistant Superintendents.

· Operate all types of mowing equipment maintaining the residential community.

· Maintains fuel and fluid levels for all types of equipment on a daily basis, reports equipment problems or failure to the equipment manager immediately.

· Training

· Weed control and management.

· Water and fertilize trees and greenspaces.





· Irrigation maintenance.

· Tree management and pruning.

· Operate trimmers, push mowers, blowers and perform various types of manual labor.

· Maintain a high level of communication and organization.

· Ensure quality and attention to detail exists in all work performed (accurate, thorough, and timely).

· Demonstrate a positive, friendly, and outgoing attitude always.

· Always demonstrate professionalism.

· Exhibit a willingness to learn current tasks and perform manual labor.

· Exhibit teamwork and the ability to work with others to ensure timely completion of tasks.

· Create a positive working setting within the department to promote and maintain a high degree of efficiency and morale.

Job Types: Full time, Seasonal

Pay: $15.00-$21.00 per hour

Experience:
Landscape maintenance: 1 year (preferred)
