Customer Attendant – Bottle Depot

- Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service when they arrive at the bottle depot.

- Receive and sort customers’ returned beverage containers according to type and applicable recycling requirements.

- Count and accurately record returned bottles, cans, and other eligible containers.

- Operate cash registers and process customer refunds accurately by cash, debit, or other approved payment methods.

- Answer customer questions regarding accepted containers, refund rates, and depot procedures.

- Inspect containers and identify items that are damaged, contaminated, or not eligible for a refund.

- Keep the customer service and container return areas clean, organized, and protected.

- Sort, bag, stack, and prepare returned containers for recycling or shipment as required.





- Handle recyclable materials safely and follow workplace health and safety procedures.

- Assist customers with unloading and organizing their containers when required.

- Maintain accurate records of container counts, refunds, and daily transactions.

- Report equipment problems, safety hazards, or operational issues to the supervisor.

- Assist with opening and closing duties and other tasks assigned by management.

- Provide efficient and courteous service while maintaining a positive and respectful attitude toward all customers.

Pay: From $18.25 per hour
