Operations Manager - Agribusiness
Our client is a energetic organization in the agribusiness sector, seeking a visionary leader to drive growth, performance, and operational excellence in its grain business. With a focus on operational excellence and community impact, they provide opportunities for professionals to lead meaningful initiatives that shape the future of agriculture.
This role is responsible for overseeing the strategic, commercial, financial, and operational success of the grain business. The Operations Manager leads the development and execution of business strategies, strengthen relationships with producers and customers, and drive profitability while building a high-performing culture.

Responsibilities
Lead the development and implementation of business strategies to support growth and profitability.
Expand grain sourcing and strengthen relationships with producers and industry partners.
Identify and pursue recent market opportunities, partnerships, and growth initiatives.
Represent the organization at industry events, customer meetings, and community engagements.
Oversee financial performance, including budgeting, profitability, and operational efficiency.
Manage grain handling, storage, logistics, inventory, and customer fulfillment processes.
Ensure facilities operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Build and develop a high-performing leadership team focused on accountability and innovation.
Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and organizational effectiveness.
Support workforce planning, talent development, and succession planning initiatives.
Promote a safety-first culture and ensure compliance with environmental and industry standards.
Oversee risk management, governance, and operational compliance activities.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Agribusiness, Agriculture, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
10+ years of leadership experience in agribusiness, grain handling, commodity trading, or related industries.
Experience managing complex operations with full profit-and-loss accountability.
Robust understanding of grain markets, producer networks, logistics, and quality management.
Excellent stakeholder management, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
Experience in change management, organizational development, and team leadership.
Pay: $150,000.00-$175,000.00 per year
