Finn Construction Ltd. is looking for an experienced Class 1A Truck Driver for aggregate hauling on a current civil construction project.

The driver will start and finish each day in the Saskatoon area, hauling aggregate from our shop just outside Saskatoon to a project site near Lumsden, SK. Drivers should expect approximately 12-hour workdays while the haul is active.

This is a good prospect for an experienced driver looking for steady construction-season hours while still returning to Saskatoon at the end of each workday.

Responsibilities
Haul aggregate from the Saskatoon area to the Lumsden project site
Operate a company semi and trailer safely and efficiently
Complete daily pre-trip inspections and required paperwork
Follow proper loading, hauling and load-securement procedures
Communicate with supervisors, site personnel and other drivers
Take valuable care of company equipment and report maintenance concerns
Follow company safety policies and applicable transportation requirements

Requirements
Valid Class 1A driver's licence




Experience operating a semi and trailer
Experience hauling aggregate or construction materials is an asset
Acceptable driver's abstract
Reliable and punctual
Strong attention to safety and equipment care
Able to work approximately 12-hour days
Able to work independently and follow direction
