We are looking to fill a a full-time role in our Salad/Garde Manger Department

Responsibilities
Report to Lead Chef
Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat etc.)
Work with team to ensure the best quality of meals are produced
Ensure excellent presentation by dressing dishes before they are served
Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen
Ensure all food and other items are stored properly




Check quality of ingredients
Manage inventory of goods - communicate with Lead Chef to ensure proper product ordering and rotation

Requirements
Proven experience as cook, 3+ years
Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, baking, boiling etc.)
Ability to work well in a team, and also to take responsibility for the team's work
Very valuable communication skills
Excellent physical condition and stamina
Diploma from a culinary school will be an advantage
Valid G Driver's License preferred
Able to work weekends and evenings

Expected hours: 35.0 – 40.0 per week
