Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of breakfast items with precision and consistency, including eggs, waffles, breakfast meats, and other specialty dishes
Ensure all food is prepared according to recipes, quality standards, and safety guidelines
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients and utensils
Assist in food service by plating dishes attractively and timely for guests or service staff
Follow food safety protocols diligently, including proper handling, sanitation, and temperature control
Support the team during busy hours by efficiently managing meal preparation and cooking tasks
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and notify management when supplies need replenishing
Able to take orders and offer customer service, make sales and handle cash

Qualifications
Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service within a restaurant or hospitality setting




Proven experience in baking from scratch will be consider a high value asset
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
Familiarity with serving techniques and meal presentation
Ability to work quickly under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards
Solid attention to detail in food preparation and cleanliness
Previous kitchen experience in the food industry is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is valued highly
Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting colleagues during busy shifts
