Lead Mobile Developer in AIBIMM is booming, so we’re looking for a Lead Mobile Developer in AI with deep agentic, iOS and Android experience to join our team.This hybrid model role requires you to be in office 2 days per week.About UsBIMM is a Toronto‑based agency at the intersection of data, technology, and creativity, providing clients with high‑performing campaigns and digital products that shape connected customer experiences. We help clients implement CRM journeys, build robust digital experiences, and create national loyalty programs across sectors such as automotive, financial, telco, and retail.What we’re looking forYou design systems that empower autonomous agents to interact, make decisions, and execute tasks seamlessly—building both application logic and the underlying cloud infrastructure needed to support scalable, dynamic agent operations. You create agent skills and families, and ensure they are reliable in production with tooling, evaluation, and guardrails.You have leveraged modern mobile tools and frameworks (Swift/SwiftUI, Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Kotlin Multiplatform) to architect and deliver iOS and Android applications from the ground up.You are a team player who can work solo when needed, provide research and solutions for complex problems, yet know when to ask for help. This role will directly support our client Audi and shape their digital platform.ResponsibilitiesCore EngineeringLead agentic practice for mobile development.Lead, mentor, and manage a diverse team of AI engineers across iOS and Android.Build a healthy, collaborative, and inclusive engineering environment.Communicate clearly with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.Ensure agentic‑generated code is production grade, respects design guidelines, and is performant across devices and screen sizes.Work closely with Product, Design, QA, and back‑end teams.Stay current with current mobile capabilities and apply them when they add value.AI EngineeringDevelop agents that generate high‑quality native applications based on user and business needs.Develop agentic systems that reliably generate production‑grade code using Swift, SwiftUI, Kotlin, and related platform tools.Build and maintain automated evaluation pipelines (evals) for agent and skill outputs, including LLM‑as‑judge scoring, regression test suites,



and golden dataset validation.Define strict input/output contracts for MCP tools and agent skills using typed schemas; ensure tools handle edge cases and surface structured errors.Own the prompt engineering lifecycle for assigned tools and skills—including version‑controlled prompt templates, parametric input injection, and structured system/user role separation.Contribute to the team’s MCP tooling catalog by implementing, testing, and documenting MCP‑compatible integrations.Requirements5+ years of mobile engineering experience, including lead ownership and responsibilities in an agile environment.Experience with iOS development using Swift, iOS SDK, SwiftUI.Experience with Kotlin and Android fundamentals.Experience with AI coding agents such as GitHub Copilot.Familiarity with Jetpack Compose.Understanding of mobile design patterns such as MVVM, MVP, MVI, MVC, or VIPER.Knowledge of iOS provisioning, app lifecycle, and release workflows.Awareness of unit testing and automation frameworks such as XCTest, XCUITest, Mokkery, Espresso, or Robolectric.Experience with accessibility standards, ideally WCAG 2.2.Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.Experience with CI and CD practices for mobile applications, including GitHub Actions.Strong understanding of Git‑based version control, GitHub workflows.Solid knowledge of cloud messaging and push notifications.Ability to translate business requirements into clear technical plans.Strong teamwork, communication, and mentoring skills.AI SkillsExperience designing and building agentic workflows—systems that plan, decompose tasks, execute, self‑validate, and iterate on failures.Hands‑on experience with prompt engineering: structured prompts, few‑shot examples, schema enforcement, and output format constraints.Experience with RAG (Retrieval‑Augmented Generation), function calling,



and deterministic routing within LLM‑powered systems.Hands‑on experience with LLM structured output patterns: function/tool calling.Familiarity with LLM evaluation approaches: building golden test sets, LLM‑as‑judge pipelines, and prompt regression testing; ability to quantify output quality with measurable metrics.Experience building or consuming agentic workflows multi‑step tool chains, state‑machine‑based agents, or orchestration frameworks (LangGraph, LangChain, AutoGen, or custom) emphasizing deterministic routing and graceful failure handling.Nice to HaveDemonstrated experience defining and rolling out engineering standards at a team or org level.Track record of driving AI tool adoption within an engineering team—onboarding, guidance, and culture building.Experience with prompt caching, semantic routing, or output memoization strategies to reduce non‑determinism at scale.Ability to instrument LLM calls with structured traces using frameworks such as LangSmith, OpenTelemetry, or custom logging; define SLOs for agent task success rates.Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform.Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect applications to back‑end services.BenefitsWork‑life balance with BIMM days: spend your birthday any way you’d like, as long as it’s not at the office.
