Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and energetic Part Time Cook to join our small East Van hangout ,In this role, you will be responsible for preparing delicious meals, ensuring food safety standards are met, and delivering exceptional service to our guests.

It is a small kitchen and an ability to self organize and get things done

Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of menu items with precision and care, following established recipes and quality standards
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils, adhering to food safety protocols
Serve food efficiently and courteously to guests, ensuring prompt delivery and satisfaction
Food prep
Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling, storage, and sanitation practices
Support team members during busy periods by assisting with additional food service duties as needed

Requirements
Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen settings is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key!




Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and meal assembly processes
Understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and serve customers warmly
Flexibility to work part-time hours including evenings, weekends, or holidays as scheduled
A positive attitude with a passion for delivering quality food and exceptional service
