Our client, a leading business law firm, is seeking an Employment & Labour Associate to join its Toronto office.

This role offers the chance to work as part of a cooperative legal team advising employers on a broad range of workplace law matters.

The successful candidate will support clients across industries on employment, labour, and human rights matters, including day-to-day workplace issues, complex advisory work, and dispute-related matters.

Key Responsibilities Advise clients on employment and labour law matters, including workplace policies, employment agreements, terminations, accommodations, human rights, and labour relations Support employer clients in matters involving grievances, mediations, arbitrations, hearings, and litigation Conduct legal research and prepare legal opinions, briefs, pleadings, and other documentation Assist with workplace investigations and regulatory compliance matters Provide practical, business-focused legal advice tailored to client needs Collaborate with colleagues across practice groups on multidisciplinary client matters Maintain robust client relationships and contribute to business development initiatives as appropriate
