Candidates working in this post are appointed to conduct general cleaning around buildings, grounds, and public-use areas such as visitor centres, campgrounds, beach areas and walkways.
They’re also appointed to lock and unlock buildings and gates working at this post.
Candidates are also appointed to observe the appearance and condition of premises and equipment; and report needed repairs, safety hazards, or conditions requiring servicing.
They’re also appointed to maintain/restock inventory of cleaning and toiletry supplies.
Candidates are appointed to contribute to the visitor experience by responding to general inquiries and directing visitors to sources of information and service areas.

Job requirement




Candidates must ensure successful completion of secondary school education or Public Service Commission-approved alternatives to be eligible for this post.
Candidates must attain experience working in a variety of teams and attain dedicated experience in anticipating/meeting public needs and resolving complaints.
Candidates must be able to communicate fluently in English and French to be eligible for this post.
Candidates must have knowledge of Parks Canada operations and the natural and cultural history of Kouchibouguac National Park.
They must attain dedicated possession of a valid First Aid and CPR certification.
Candidates must have possession of a valid Driver’s license and willingness to wear a Parks Canada uniform and prescribed protective equipment.
Candidates must obtain and maintain a Reliability Status security clearance to be eligible for this post.
