Shape the futures of children and families as a Customary Care Coordinator with Wiikwemkoong Child and Family Services. Emphasize prevention and cultural alignment in your approach. As a Customary Care Coordinator, you will oversee and coordinate customary care agreements in collaboration with First Nation agencies.

This role includes developing templates for agreements, facilitating effective communication, and conducting compliance reviews. Your commitment to following Anishnaabe values will play a crucial role in supporting families throughout the community. Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate meetings to discuss child welfare agreements
Develop, implement, and review Customary Care Agreements
Maintain ongoing communication with involved parties
Process payments and manage financial allocations
Conduct home visits to support family wellness plans Requirements:
Degree in Social Work or similar field preferred
Relevant 2 years of experience in social services
Solid knowledge of First Nation programs
Effective communication and advocacy skills
Computer proficiency required Contribute to Wiikwemkoong’s culture by supporting children and families through customized care.
