We are a busy household with two young daughters and a 39-year-old Mom who is currently recovering from surgery with two broken arms.

We are seeking a compassionate, proactive, and highly organized multi-tasker to help keep our home running smoothly and provide childcare and essential companion assistance to Mom during her recovery period.

The Schedule, Routine & Compensation Period: Sept 2 - Dec. 18, 2026 Hours: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM (24 hours/week).

Rate: $30.00 per hour (plus mileage reimbursement if driving the kids).

School Pickup: School ends at 2:30pm.

The school is a 20-minute walk from our house, or a 5-minute drive.

Having your own vehicle is a big asset.

Key Responsibilities - Post-Op Companion Care: Provide direct day-to-day assistance to Mom.

Because she has two broken arms, she requires logistical help with basic daily tasks that require fine motor skills, such as cutting her food, opening containers, setting up meals, reaching for items, and light mobility companionship (no skilled nursing or heavy lifting required). - Childcare & Transportation:



Pick up our two daughters from school daily, transport them safely home or to after-school activities, and prepare a healthy after-school snack. - Housekeeping & Organization: Keep the home tidy, manage daily family laundry (washing, folding, putting away), load/unload the dishwasher, and handle light weekly cleaning. - Meal Preparation: Assist with light, healthy meal prepping and cooking for family dinners.

Requirements & Qualifications: - Prior experience in childcare AND personal support or companion care (PSW/RCA experience is a major asset). - Valid BC Drivers License with a clean driving abstract, and ideally a reliable, secure vehicle with appropriate insurance. - Up-to-date Explicit Criminal Record Check (including vulnerable sector screening). - Current First Aid and CPR certification is an asset - Non-smoker. - Kind, collaborative, and sensitive to maintaining a client''s dignity during physical recovery Please visit to view full details and to apply.
