Digital Product Manager (Commercial Banking)
Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid)
Contract Length: 12-Month Initial Contract (Potential for extension or conversion to FTE)
Hourly Rate: $T4: $40-$50 | IC: $55-$65 PER HOUR (Dependent on experience)
About the Role
We are seeking a versatile, execution-driven Digital Product Manager to lead the design and delivery of cutting-edge digital experiences for a major commercial banking portfolio. This is a balanced role: you will help shape multi-year portfolio strategies and roadmaps while rolling up your sleeves to manage backlogs, write requirements, and drive agile delivery.
You will support commercial banking customers across SMB, mid-market, and corporate segments—focusing on areas like digital servicing, workflow automation, case management, payments, and account onboarding.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategy & Roadmap: Develop and manage a multi-year vision, strategy, and roadmap, using data-driven insights and customer feedback.
- Agile Delivery & Execution: Own and manage the product backlog (user stories, requirements, prioritization) within an Agile operating model.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner closely with Technology, UI/UX Design, Data & Analytics, Operations,
and business stakeholders to take initiatives from concept to launch.
- Customer Experience & Data: Analyze customer data and metrics to reduce friction, drive product adoption, and solve meaningful customer problems.
- Change Management: Develop and lead stakeholder engagement, readiness assessments, and go-to-market plans for digital releases.
- Emerging Tech & AI: Support innovative initiatives involving automation, AI-enabled experiences, and intelligent workflows.
What You Bring (Must-Haves)
- 5–7+ years of relevant Digital Product Management or Product Owner experience within Agile environments.
- Proven experience designing and delivering B2B digital experiences (financial services/commercial banking strongly preferred).
- Demonstrated success delivering digital initiatives across mobile, tablet, and desktop platforms.
- Solid command of digital UI/UX principles, usability testing, customer journey mapping, and digital analytics.
- High comfort with ambiguity, strong independent problem-solving skills, and a proven bias for action and execution.
- A passion for emerging technologies and innovative solutions, including AI applications in product roadmaps.
