Geotab is seeking a Business Analyst Intern for our Project Management Office (PMO) team who will support assigned projects managed by the PMO. The ideal candidate should:Be a self‑starter with strong knowledge of business analysisPossess key BA competenciesHave the ability to quickly understand complex conceptsDemonstrate strong leadership, communication, diplomatic and motivational skillsHold the ability to lead in varying situations that can be ambiguous at timesFoster a culture of team collaboration and continuous improvementWhat you'll doDuring your time with us, you'll have the chance to work on one or more projects to help develop your practical Business Analysis experience. This experience can count towards accumulating your Personal Development (PD) hours for the IIBA designation of your choice. You'll gain practical stakeholder management experience in a flat organization that is a technology leader in its field.The opportunity8‑month work‑term beginning September 2026Full‑time, paid internship: Monday‑Friday, 37.5 hrs/weekYour first week at Geotab begins with ‘GEO Launch’ – a one‑week Employee OrientationLearn more about the Geotab Campus Program hereThis posting is for an existing vacancyHow you'll make an impactDesign and develop prototypes and proofs‑of‑concept (POCs) for AI‑driven tools that automate and enhance business analysis tasks (e.G., requirements validation, risk detection,



process mining)Contribute to the architecture of a “Business‑Analysis‑as‑a‑Service” (BAaaS) platform, focusing on scalability, modularity, and integrationWrite clean, efficient, and well‑documented code for platform services and intelligent agentsDevelop scripts and build data pipelines to ingest, process, and structure business data for use in AI/ML modelsCollaborate with senior analysts and engineers in an agile environment to translate high‑level business problems into technical specifications and functional codeWork with modern development tools and cloud platforms to build and deploy solutionsResearch emerging technologies in AI, process automation, and platform engineering, and present findings and ideas to the teamWork closely with members of the EPM team and stakeholders from many departments throughout Geotab, driving the project from initiation through completionAssist in the collection, consolidation, and mapping of required information and dataDocument client organization’s direction, structure, business processes, and requirementsApply the Business Process Framework and understand business process modelling notation and techniques,



as well as process improvement methods and criteriaCollaborate with Business Analysts and SMEs by participating in process reviews and providing process modelling services of current and future stateWhat you'll bring to the rolePursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Business or a related fieldStrong analytical skills with the ability to solve problems and make well‑judged decisionsDemonstrable proficiency in a major programming language, with a strong preference forPythondue to its extensive use in AI/MLThe ability to approach business problems from an engineering perspective, breaking down complex processes into logical, automatable componentsA passion for tackling complex, interesting, and solvable problems with elegant and efficient codeHigh accuracy and meticulous attention to detailAbility to perform effectively under tight deadlines with multiple priorities in a fast‑paced and dynamic environmentAbility to prioritize work to ensure deliverables are metMaintains high standards of ethics and integrityStrong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to present information and ideas in user‑friendly languageEntrepreneurial mindset and comfort in a flat organizationPrevious Business Analysis work experience preferredIIBA Certification is an assetPayHourly Rate: $24–$39 CADEqual Opportunity EmployerGeotab encourages applications from all qualified individuals.
