Our respected Vancouver client is looking for a Business Controller to oversee key financial operations. This role involves leading a team, budgeting, and liaising with external stakeholders.

As the Business Controller for a well-established company, you will replace the retiring Controller and be integral to financial management. Reporting directly to the President and General Manager, you will supervise accounting staff and ensure effective compliance with policies.

Your responsibilities will include preparing budgets and financial statements, as well as representing the company during annual audits.

Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage accounting and finance functions
Prepare detailed annual budgets for operations and capital




Produce monthly financial statements with relevant reports
Coordinate with external auditors and banks
Represent the company’s financial interests in discussions

Requirements:
CPA is a must-have qualification
Solid leadership experience in accounting roles
Excellent analytical and organizational skills
Proven communication capabilities
Familiarity with compliance and auditing processes
