Lead legal strategies at EDF Power Solutions North America as Counsel, focusing on corporate governance, M&A;, and renewable energy agreements in a hybrid work setting.

This Counsel position requires a robust background in corporate law, M&A; transactions, and negotiation of complex renewable energy documents. With a minimum of three years of experience, you will directly impact our projects by ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Your expertise in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts will support the development of sustainable energy initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
• Negotiate and draft commercial and M&A; agreements
• Support project debt and equity financing transactions
• Oversee internal client legal processes and compliance




• Lead training programs for North American employees
• Ensure compliance with laws and regulations

Requirements:
• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school
• Active bar admission in one U.S. state or Canadian province
• Minimum three years of legal experience, five preferred
• Background with renewable energy projects desired
• Proven track record in M&A; and project financing
