The Prospect The Third Party Residential Underwriting Division provides underwriting expertise and services on behalf of other financial institutions to the Canadian Mortgage Broker channel. Reporting to the Assistant Vice President, Third Party Residential Underwriting – BMBE, the Manager manages a team of Mortgage Underwriters, Associate Mortgage Underwriters, and Mortgage Funders. Under their guidance the team assesses mortgage applications, adheres to underwriting policies and guidelines,



reviews required documentation, and manages closing and advancing funds on approved applications, maintaining a consistent focus on service excellence. How You Will Contribute Establish and maintain positive relationships with mortgage brokers. Maintain relationships with external partners such as mortgage insurers, appraisers, title insurance companies, and solicitors. Generate new business opportunities through existing referral sources to help achieve company sales targets. Make lending decisions within established limits while ensuring adherence to policies and guidelines. Complete management reporting as required.
