Position: Marketing Manager – Food and NutritionLocation: Ontario (Burlington / Oakville) or Quebec (Montreal / Vaudreuil-Dorion)Ideally, this person will be located close to one of our offices. Note that this role requires the availability to travel.Status: Permanent, full-time. This is a newly created position.We are currently recruiting a commercial Marketing Manager to support and lead a portion of our Product Marketing team in Canada. Reporting to the Director of Product Marketing – North America, this individual will be responsible for managing part of the Product Management group while providing strategic guidance and oversight. The Marketing Manager will also serve as a key liaison across cross‑functional teams, ensuring alignment and efficiency in all processes that interact directly with Product Marketing.This role will contribute to the Food and Nutrition Group’s leadership team where applicable.Success in this role requires both product management experience in the Food and Nutrition (ingredients) industry and proven experience managing people.We put people first so that together, we can reimagine the possibilities!Founded over 50 years ago, Quadra is home to a thriving 550+ employees based across Canada and the United States. Our employees are professional and passionate about our business.Leadership ResponsibilitiesSupport the group in defining and executing on the supplier/product marketing strategy within the team, aligned with our Quadra Supplier Management philosophyDevelop direct connection and relationships with Supplier PartnersActively participate in industry events such as tradeshows, network within our target markets to support our growth objectivesHave direct management and leadership responsibility for some of the Product Managers or Buyers within the group’s PM teamTranslate strategic objectives into actionable goals and development plansFoster a high‑performance culture and strong collaboration between marketing and sales teamsSpearhead growth in terms of potential new products and target marketsSpecial projects as delegated by the Business Director or Head of Product Marketing geared towards the candidate’s key strengthsBe a leader and champion for the product marketing team within the organizationProduct Manager ResponsibilitiesManage relationships with a domestic and international supplier baseIdentify and provide a reliable and competitive supply of products for targeted marketsBuild strong, multi‑level relationships with suppliers through regular documented visitsResponsible for continued market development and sustained profitable growth of product portfolioCentral role in working very closely with the corporate sales force and balancing corporate objectives, customer requirements and supplier expectationsBe the expert of your key products and marketsManage pricing and maintain price listsFormally evaluate the performance of key suppliersBe present at target industry events (i.E. trade shows, conferences, etc.) to gain market knowledge and awarenessBuild robust connections and relationships with the Quadra sales team based on trust, credibility and collaborationDeliver presentations both for internal and external communication (i.E. suppliers, customers, conferences)Being a key contributor to shaping group strategic objectives and achieving the mission statementQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Science, Business, or related disciplineMinimum 12 years previous commercial and product management experience in the Food industry, specifically in the ingredients sectorMinimum 5 years leadership experience managing direct reports, with a proven ability to lead, coach, and mentor a team of commercially focused individuals toward achieving strategic goalsProven experience in product management/principal managementProven experience in market analysis and development of marketing plans and strategiesSkilled in data analysis, reporting and presentation developmentAn understanding of the infrastructure needed to support a commodity development strategyDemonstrated expertise in pricing strategy and price list managementExperience developing effective purchasing and sourcing strategiesAbility to collaborate and influence internal stakeholders such as supply chain and logistics teams to ensure seamless executionSelf‑motivated and able to work independently and handle pressureExcellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skillsExcellent organizational and problem‑solving skillsStrong business acumen and understanding of profitability driversCommunication proficiency in French and English (oral and written bilingualism) is a strong assetEnthusiastic about contributing to a high‑performance culture and accustomed to a fast‑paced environmentAdvanced computer literacy, including Excel, PowerPoint, CRM systems (Salesforce preferred),

Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as job‑related knowledge, skills, education and experience. Base salary is only a part of the total rewards package – this role will also be eligible for a generous incentive program and full benefits.
