Take advantage of a temporary full time role as a Utility Treatment Technician Level 1 with the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo. Engage in daily wastewater treatment processes and ensure operational compliance to maintain community health. This position is centered in Fort McMurray's Environmental Services department and includes performing daily tasks related to wastewater treatment and operational management.

Your responsibility will consist of maintaining compliance with municipal and provincial regulations while actively operating treatment facilities and equipment. Key Responsibilities:
Operate compost systems and treatment processes
Troubleshoot and resolve quality control issues
Complete daily operations records and data submissions




Inspect and monitor equipment for optimal function
Provide assistance with safety and operational procedures Requirements:
High School diploma or GED equivalency required
Level I Wastewater Treatment Certification necessary
One year’s experience in wastewater treatment required
