Shifts at the Yonge Program are as follows:Day:7:30 a.M. – 3:30 p.M.Evening:3:30 p.M. – 11:30 p.M.We are seeking relief staff who are committed to working aminimum of three (3) full shifts within a ten (10) week period, within the above shift schedule.Please note that when picking up a shift,



you must be available to workthe entire shift .When hiring for relief positions, we are specifically looking for individuals who can consistently meet this minimum commitment of three shifts every ten weeks.How to qualify:Post secondary degree/diploma in Developmental Service Worker (DSW)PSW certificate from an accredited Ministry of Health School will be an assetPost secondary degree/diploma in human services and/or other healthcare related field of studyPlus two (2) years’ experience teaching daily living skills to adults with physical disabilities and augmentative communication requirementsPSW certificate from an accredited Ministry of Health School will be an assetExperience with teaching/counseling of life skillsExperience working with people with disabilities is an assetExperience working with people who are augmentative communication usersProof of First Aid and CPR certificateAbility to pass a Criminal Record Check (Vulnerable Person)Ability to travel between client appointments and willingness to work in the communityIf you thrive in an independent work environment and are interested in "Making a Difference" in our client's lives - then this role is for you!To learn more about PACE Independent Living check us out at www.Pace-il.CaPACE is committed to creating an accessible and inclusive organization.
