Clearway Construction is hiring a Damage Prevention and Safety Coordinator in Vancouver, BC, to lead safety initiatives for underground utilities. This role emphasizes supervision of pre-locate investigations and the promotion of a solid safety culture in the field. Your primary objective will be to manage the integrity of utility information before excavation, ensuring compliance with safety standards across the Lower Mainland projects.

This dual role combines damage prevention with supporting safety coordinator duties, suitable for those experienced in civil or heavy construction fields. Key Responsibilities:
Lead and organize the pre-locate investigation efforts
Review and validate drawings and permits prior to excavation




Conduct detailed safety training and toolbox talks
Manage utility locate binders and safety documentation
Perform safety inspections and site audits Requirements:
3+ years in damage prevention or civil construction
Working knowledge of BC One Call processes
Robust ability to interpret civil and utility plans
Experience conducting site audits and safety training
