The OpportunityThe Transportation Operator is responsible for routing and transporting loads of corrugated board from the Corrugator via powered and/or gravity conveyor and by operating a fork truck.Hourly rate: $27.14.What You’ll DoRoutes units of finished sheets to the Unitizer or loads of in-process board to the converting departmentWorks safely in accordance with Company safety policies and procedures and OHS legislation; wears prescribed PPE and reports all hazards to supervisionVerifies quality of all Finished Goods Units in the WarehouseTransports loads on powered or gravity conveyor or moves loads with a fork truckInserts Finished Goods Load Tags or In-process Tags into loads as requiredOperates the bander to unitize units of finished sheets and some in-process loadsInspects the quality of the loads from the corrugator and removes defective sheets from the loadsMaintains good housekeeping and finished sheets storage areas at the CorrugatorStacks and stores units and load orders onto trailer as requiredMaintains valuable housekeeping practices following food safety protocols and Positive Manufacturing Practices (GMP)Back up for the position is UnitizerOther duties as assignedWhat You BringHigh School Diploma or related experience and/or trainingValid Forklift certificate,
