Newbridge Academy is looking for a vibrant Yoga Instructor to lead weekly classes for Kindergarten to Grade 5 students in the upcoming school year. Share your passion for mindfulness and promote healthy movement in a fun, supportive setting.

This part time role at Newbridge Academy focuses on fostering mindfulness and body awareness among young children. You will guide engaging yoga sessions every Thursday, catering to two classes comprising Kindergarten to Grade 2 and Grades 3 to 5. Your efforts will help students build confidence, focus, and resilience in a nurturing setting.

Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and conduct age-appropriate yoga classes
• Create a welcoming atmosphere for all students




• Incorporate breathing and relaxation techniques
• Adapt lessons for different age groups and abilities
• Collaborate with staff for a secure learning space

Requirements:
• Experience teaching yoga to children preferred
• Certification in yoga instruction an asset
• Skills in classroom management and communication
• Ability to build relationships with students
• Willingness to obtain a current Criminal Record Check
