Job Overview

We are seeking a energetic and dedicated Class 1 Truck Driver to join our team and drive excellence in freight transportation. Responsibilities
Safely operate Class 1 commercial trucks to transport freight over long or short distances while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, including checking brakes, lights, tires, and other critical systems to ensure optimal operation
Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo
Maintain accurate documentation for each trip, including delivery logs, freight manifests, and inspection reports
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients,



and team members to coordinate schedules and resolve any logistical issues promptly
Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting as needed to keep trucks in top condition
Operate heavy equipment safely when required for loading or unloading freight

Requirements
Valid Class 1 commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
Proven experience in commercial driving and freight transportation
Proficiency in forklift operation and handling freight using various loading equipment
Knowledge of heavy equipment operation and basic automotive repair skills
Ability to perform thorough vehicle inspections and identify maintenance needs
Strong communication skills with a proactive approach to safety and customer service
Physical ability to load, unload, lift heavy items, and work in various weather conditions
