At Rockridge Secondary, you’ll engage with students through their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), providing tailored support alongside teachers. Your responsibilities include ensuring student safety and assisting with personal care, depending on individual requirements, as you strive to elevate educational experiences for children in need.

Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with teachers to implement IEP strategies
• Ensure a protected classroom workplace for all students
• Provide personal assistance and care for students




• Facilitate mobility and special positioning when necessary
• Build positive relationships with parents and the educational team

Requirements:
• Completion of Grade 12 and Special Education Assistant training
• Proven experience with students having diverse learning needs
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility to adapt to various roles and tasks
• Valid B.C. Driver's license is required
