Lead a team of Associates and Associate Directors through guidance, leadership, coaching and development

Lead execution and achievement of customer and partner experience targets

Coach and model appropriate behavior and execute plans to continuously improve customer experience

Complete initial business, industry, financial and commercial due diligence on current opportunities with the deal team

Assist in structuring competitive packages while maintaining balanced risk and credit quality

Execute transactions with other deal team members

Manage the credit portfolio and ensure structured deals meet risk policies

Structure more complex deals in the unit or market as needed

Contribute to the business plan, goal setting, growth strategies and unit coaching

Assess and manage credit risk in compliance with internal and external requirements

Oversee, lead and coach associates and associate directors while developing talent and capabilities

Coordinate with TD Securities on M&A; advisory, equity, debt capital markets and hedging expertise as required

Deliver a superior customer experience while driving profitable business growth aligned with business strategy

Requirements Previous experience in asset based lending, preferably in complex, corporate-style transactions

Robust organizational and team management skills

Ability to work in a demanding environment and handle multiple deadlines and changing priorities

Very solid credit, analytical and problem solving skills

Excellent communication and organizational skills





Ability to work both in a team environment and independently

Ability to engage in active dialogue with internal and external stakeholders An undergraduate or graduate degree in Business, Economics, Finance or another quantitative discipline

MBA or CFA would be an asset

6+ years of relevant experience For Quebec: mastery of a language other than French to support or deal with employees requiring services and support in a language other than French
