exposure to major civil works, and the opportunity to be part of projects that help shape communities across the province.Responsibilities- Assist Project Managers with the planning, execution, and closeout of heavy civil construction projects (e.G., roads, highways, bridges, infrastructure)- Coordinate project documentation including submittals, RFIs, change orders, and project correspondence- Track project schedules and support updates to ensure milestones and deadlines are met- Maintain accurate project records, including daily reports, meeting minutes, and progress tracking- Liaise with site supervisors, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure clear communication and timely delivery of materials and services- Support procurement activities including issuing purchase orders and tracking deliveries- Monitor project costs, quantities, and budget updates; assist with cost reporting- Ensure compliance with contract specifications, drawings, and regulatory requirements- Assist in preparing progress claims, forecasts, and reports- Participate in project meetings and help coordinate logistics and follow‑ups- Promote and adhere to company health and safety policies on all projects- Uphold company standards for professionalism and customer service- Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)



at all times- Perform other duties as assignedQualifications- Post‑secondary education in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field- 1–3 years of experience in heavy civil construction or infrastructure projects (co‑op/internship experience considered)- Basic understanding of construction methods, drawings, and specifications- Familiarity with project management and scheduling software (e.G., MS Project, Primavera P6) is an asset- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)- Knowledge of contract administration and documentation processes is an asset.- Valid Class G driver’s license- Willingness to work long hours, weekends, and travel as requiredPersonal Qualities / Skills- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a rapid‑paced environment- Problem‑solving mindset with a proactive approach- Team‑oriented with the ability to collaborate across departments- Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines- Adaptable and willing to learn in a dynamic construction environment- Commitment to safety and quality standardsWorking Conditions- Fast‑paced, physically demanding environment- Requires bending, lifting, kneeling, and climbing- Outdoor work in varying conditions such as heat, cold, dust, and noiseEEO StatementFidelity Group of Companies welcomes and encourages application from people with disabilities.
