The ideal candidate understands the pulse of entertainment, sports, gaming, and social media, and can translate emerging trends into culturally relevant content. You will work closely with account teams, designers, writers, and producers to create top‑line social activations.Responsibilities include shooting, editing, and retouching video and image content, managing production from concept to post‑production, and ensuring alignment with brand voice and aesthetics.What you will be doingDevelop and execute creative content strategies for social media platforms, including organic and paid support content.Plan, shoot, and edit high‑quality videos and images that align with our brand's voice and aesthetic.Manage production elements for shoots as needed, including scheduling, location and props sourcing, casting, talent coordination, and contracting.Communicate closely with the account and creative teams, providing updates on production schedules and shoot details throughout the process.Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and create content that supports marketing campaigns and initiatives.Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices to ensure our content remains fresh and relevant.Manage and organize digital assets, ensuring all content is stored and archived appropriately.Analyze content performance metrics and provide insights and recommendations for improvement.What you need to be great in this roleProven experience as a Social Media Content Creator or similar role,



with a strong portfolio showcasing video and image content.3‑5 years of experience (ideally in an agency setting) working on social media content capture and/or production.Knowledge of the logistics involved in photo and digital/video production.Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.Strong photography and videography skills, including lighting, composition, and storytelling.Excellent understanding of social media platforms and their respective audiences.Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative ideas and concepts.Solid communication and collaboration skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.The base salary for this position may range from $72,250.00 CAD to $80,750.00 CAD. Individual compensation varies based on job‑related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications.
