DescriptionCummins is looking for a Field service power generation technician to support the local business division in Lloydminster, AB.ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:Establishes and continually develops productive customer relations and ensures prompt and efficient attention to customer needsApplies the use of specialized tools and follows documented procedures and policies to diagnose and complete complex repairs at customer sitePerforms preventative maintenance activities as per documented schedules and standards on power generation products in the fieldCompletes required documentation, such as service worksheets, timesheets, warranty claims, quality documents via handwritten forms or business system input screensCompletes training in line with skill and business requirementsMaintains service vehicle and tools for cleanliness and proper operationEnsure adherence to all relevant Health Safety & Environmental policies, procedures and legislation and reports any issues / incidents to site management and to their supervisorResponsibilities (Continued) / Education, Licenses, CertificationsIn order to be successful in this role you will need the following:Education, License, CertificationHeavy duty equipment journeyman certification is requiredCurrent relevant electrical certification (is an asset)Locally valid driving permitThis position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulationsExperienceIntermediate level of field service related experience requiredIntermediate level knowledge of and/or experience with power generation products requiredHigh Voltage/Low Voltage experienceAbout The RoleSalary ranges between 45.00$ hourly and 55.00$ hourly, depending on experienceFull time on call is required for this position (daily premium)Cummins offers a 5000$ sign on bonus for this rolePosition to service our business in LloydminsterPreventive maintenanceLoad bankingEngine workService truck providedCompensation And BenefitsBase salary rate commensurate with experience.
