Insight Global is partnering with a leading engineering consulting firm to hire a Director, Transportation & Infrastructure. This senior leadership role will provide strategic and operational oversight for a multidisciplinary division focused on transportation infrastructure, structural engineering, municipal infrastructure, water resources, and construction administration projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business performance, leading practice area leaders, and ensuring the successful delivery of complex infrastructure projects across Ontario.

This role is ideal for a business-minded engineering leader who combines strong technical credibility with proven experience leading people, operations, and growth initiatives. The role has full accountability for divisional strategy, financial performance, operational excellence, and organizational effectiveness

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

15+ years of progressive leadership experience within consulting engineering, infrastructure consulting, technical services, or a related industry. Proven experience leading large, multidisciplinary teams within transportation, municipal infrastructure, structural engineering, water resources, or construction administration environments.



Strong business acumen with experience managing budgets, forecasting, workforce planning, profitability, and operational performance.

Demonstrated success leading strategic planning initiatives and translating organizational objectives into measurable business outcomes. Excellent client management and business development skills, with experience supporting major pursuits and strategic accounts. Solid leadership presence with the ability to influence stakeholders, drive accountability, and lead through organizational change.

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Professional Engineering designation (P.Eng.) or equivalent professional accreditation. Experience working on MTO, municipal, transportation, and large-scale infrastructure programs. Demonstrated success growing and scaling engineering consulting business units. Experience overseeing quality management systems, delivery governance, and risk management frameworks.

Salary: 210K/year CAD
